The One Person you need to be patient with while Sheltering in Place
My eyes were rolled back so far in my head that I was glad nobody could see me because I had turned off the video portion of the Zoom Meeting because I knew something like that could possibly happen.
I don’t know about you but I am NOT loving all the Zoom Meetings. A lot of the calls start off great and then things go down the drain for me.
I haven’t decided if it’s because I’m on edge and what would have been just mild irritations before are now grounds for setting things off.
After that experience, I sat down with myself to find out why I was so annoyed on that Zoom call and why I find myself becoming short on patience with regularity.
San Francisco residents started our sheltering in place in Mid March. As we cautiously re-open our local economy, it may be some time before I get back to the studio to train my clients. It may be even longer before I get to see a lot of my friends again.
It is important to take time out to process the fact that we’ve all had our lives upended since the Covid19 Pandemic and subsequent physically distancing began. Our sense of normalcy has radically changed and admittedly patience and tolerance for nonsense is running low both in person and (especially) over Zoom.
